1. Job Overview
This role is responsible for supporting the development, execution, and monitoring of the Bank’s strategic initiatives. This role focuses on conducting market and industry analysis, generating strategic insights, and coordinating closely with business units to ensure effective implementation of the Bank’s strategic priorities, in alignment with regulatory requirements and overall business objectives.

2. Key Responsibilities
– Lead Bank of Vietnam’s strategy and business planning activities, including the development and articulation of the bank-wide short-mid- to long-term mission, vision, and corporate strategy
– Oversee end-to-end strategy execution, manage the prioritization of strategic initiatives, and ensure consistent alignment between short-term action plans and mid- to long-term strategic objectives.
– Plan and drive bank-wide strategic initiatives that require centralized coordination and lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely and consistent execution.
– Oversee end-to-end resource allocation and management, including the deployment and utilization of delegated resources, to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and optimal use across the organization.
– Develop organizational design and governance framework, including establishing and refining the organizational structure, defining job roles and responsibilities (R&Rs), setting delegation of authority, and establishing application standards and governance control principles for Bank of Vietnam.
– Drive future-oriented and strategic business initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and developing new growth opportunities, leading pilot initiatives, and managing strategic partnerships and external collaborations.
– Support Top Management and Executive Forums by planning and facilitating top management–led meetings, managing agendas, and tracking execution and follow-up actions on key decisions.
– Manage the operations of the Board and Committees, covering agenda planning, quality control of materials for reporting and approval, and monitoring the execution and follow-up of key decisions.

3. Job Requirements
– Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Public Policy or related fields.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in banking, strategy, consulting, or related roles, preferably with exposure to banking or financial institutions.
– Technical & Behavioral Competencies
• Strong strategic thinking and structuring capability with the ability to systematically decompose complex business and management issues, identify core logic, and derive clear priorities and strategic conclusions. Solid understanding of the macro environment and industry dynamics including financial policies, market conditions, and structural changes in the financial
services industry, with the ability to translate them into strategic and business implications.
• Strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to assess the current state and identify key issues from a management and decision-making perspective.
Executive-level judgment and communication skills, with a strong understanding of top management decision-making logic and the ability to tailor messages, depth, and communication style when engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to lead business communication and executive-level reporting
• Korean language skills are considered an advantage.

Basic Benefits: Social insurance based on salary and 12 days of annual leave, health insurance, personal accident insurance, 13th month salary and bonuses twice a year.

Working day: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.

Working location: Yen Hoa Ward, Hanoi City.

Salary: Negotiable.
