Position Summary

Australia Branch Main Business: Sales Logistics Operation

Manage Overall Daily Operation of Sales Logistics activities

  • Plan and Manage Int’l and Domestic transportation to meet customers satisfaction
  • Maximize the branch operation profitability on behalf of company
  • Drive growth for company business

Work Location: Australia (Sydney)

Organization: SL South East Asia RHQ Head of Division

Reporting Line: Head of SL Division → Head of SL Head Quarter

Requirement: Australian (Except Korean nationality/ Korean Background)

Responsibilities
Key Responsibility

  • Manage the Sales Logistics Operation (Direct/Non-Direct Warehouse Operation, 4PL Logistics Operation)
  • Improve and Manage various Operation functions related to Air/Ocean transportation, Local Distribution, Drayage, Logistics, and W/H
  • Utilize standard Operating Procedures to resolve and correct problems
  • Manage overall Operation related cost structure, system, store and distribution process in W/H
  • Develop and execute growth strategy
  • Communication with C Level and Build relationship with Customers

General Responsibility

  • Direct and Provide leadership and implements short-range plans and identify goals and objectives to meet the business mission and strategic plans
  • Direct and manage daily operations to successfully deliver results. Especially customer service and finance activities
  • Increase the overall productivity of the branch by implementing relevant employee training, budgeting effectively, eliminating inefficiencies and capturing growth opportunities
  • Report and conduct thorough investigations for any service failures, accidents misconduct, security issues, or claims to the concerned Dept. for immediate support and/or response
  • Conduct daily status meetings with the management team to review the prior day’s performance and to develop an action plan for the current day
  • Solid understanding of the characteristics of Thailand Logistics. Networking with agencies/carriers/customers

Required Skills & Experience
Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business-related field, logistics or Supply Chain required
  • Above 20 years working experience in Global Logistic company or 3PL company
  • 13+ years of Logistics Management experience is required
  • 5+ years of experience as a logistics manager with a proven record of leadership and performance is required
  • Strong understanding of the international transportation/ freight forwarding industry
  • Progressively responsible professional experience
  • Detailed response tailored to customer C-Level’s request
  • Ability to deliver company’s strategy/solution using business language. Professional communication and language skill is required to communicate with Head Quarter and Global customers
  • Strong cross-functional teamwork, collaboration, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills

Preference

  • Have experience in Production/Manufacture work process, deep understanding with SCM based business
  • Country manager experience is preferred
  • TMS, WMS system experience
  • Have experience in Problem Solution leading as a leader
  • Multiple language skill is a plus
